Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aya app and related services (together, the "Service"), provided by Apps Foundry Labs Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using Aya, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
0.Purpose of the Service
Aya is a Muslim prayer companion. Our purpose is to help Muslims maintain their prayers and stay connected with the people they love. Aya provides accurate prayer times, a Qibla compass, private prayer tracking and streaks, a dhikr counter, and an optional private prayer circle called "Together" for sending loving reassurance and gentle reminders between people who choose to join.

| Premium | "Aya Premium", the paid subscription that unlocks a larger Together circle and supports the app's development. |
2.Eligibility and Registration
Aya is intended for a general audience and is suitable for all ages. Some features, such as Together, require you to sign in.
- You may sign in using your email address or through Apple or Google sign-in.
- You should keep one account per person and provide accurate information when you set up your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that takes place through your account.
- If you are under the minimum age in your region, you should only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required.
3.User Conduct
We want Aya to be a calm and respectful space. When you use the Service, you agree that you will not:
- Impersonate any other person or misrepresent who you are.
- Send abusive, harassing, threatening, or unlawful reminders or messages to other members.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in breach of any applicable law.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code or data of the Service, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Use bots, automated scripts, or other tools to access or interfere with the Service.
- Share or expose the private content of a circle you belong to without the consent of the people involved.
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written permission.
4.Services and Features
Aya offers a set of free features and an optional paid subscription.
Free features
- Accurate prayer times for your location.
- Qibla compass.
- Private prayer tracking and streaks.
- Dhikr and tasbih counter.
- A Together circle of up to two people.
Premium features
- A larger Together circle, so you can include more of the people you love.
- Support for the ongoing development of the app.
Subscriptions. Aya Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app and through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Purchases and entitlement status are handled by RevenueCat and the app stores, and we do not store your payment details ourselves.
5.Account Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Aya at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect other users or the Service. Where practical and lawful, we will give you notice. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end, and any data held in connection with your account is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
6.Content Ownership and Licence
You keep all rights to the content you create, including the messages and reminders you send within your circle. By using Together, you grant us the limited technical permission we need to store and deliver that content to the members of your circle.
Because your Together content is end-to-end encrypted, it is not accessible to us. We store only ciphertext and cannot read the contents of your messages. The Aya app, its design, branding, and software remain the property of Apps Foundry Labs Ltd, and nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.
7.Disclaimers and Responsibilities
Aya is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- Prayer times and Qibla are calculated estimates. They are computed from your location and the calculation settings you choose. You should confirm times and direction with your local mosque or a trusted source, especially for important religious observance.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- You are responsible for how you use the Service and for the messages you send to other members.
8.Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Aya or to legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10.Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
